Met with Truman and Elizabeth to get some advice and encouragement regarding long term missions, as Lynnette and I look forward to the Philippines. They are temporarily in Hawaii, and we didn't want to miss the chance to glean some wisdom from them before they go back to China. 

Afterwards we went to Alex Cheng's send off service at New Hope Diamond Head. He's heading off to Taiwan to help the new church plant over there as a long term missionary. It was awesome to see what God is doing in his life, and to see the incredible community of people that he has behind him. The group picture below was probably just half the people that were actually  there.
