Finally got approval to install our a/c window unit in our apartment and after a couple trips to Home Depot and the use of Hugh's drill, I finally got that baby up and running. I am not sure how we survived this long without it, out here in Waipio. It is a little scary how this 75lb box just seems to hang precariously out our second story window.

Lynnette just finished her last day of substitute teaching at Manoa elementary (she was sub-ing for a teacher on maternity leave for 2 months). Here she is with gifts and leis the kids gave her - she must have made an impact on them. I still don't comprehend what would make someone want be in a small room with 30 nine year olds for 6 hours.
