We were evacuated out of the cafe Jupiter bldg a little while ago. Apparently there was a bomb scare, possibly a suspicious package. It's funny how morons like me stick around to try to get a closer look.
Hope Chapel had their Harvestfest event, which is an alternative place for kids to go to play games, get candy and see handsome pirates. Lynnette made me dress up this year, something I hadn't done in about 20 years, but in the end it was a good time.
Finally got approval to install our a/c window unit in our apartment and after a couple trips to Home Depot and the use of Hugh's drill, I finally got that baby up and running. I am not sure how we survived this long without it, out here in Waipio. It is a little scary how this 75lb box just seems to hang precariously out our second story window.
Here we are at our first "Crazy Love" event (our young married couples ministry). We did some bowling but Lynnette and I didn't win anything. But at least we looked good, it's all about the victory dances (even if you are in last place).
